INTRODUCTION
Some lime ago we produced a leaflet for dealers entitled "Who Needs Spare Parts?**, That leaflet was produced lo assist dealers in understanding some of the problems associated with handling spare pans. Now wc hiive produced this new leaflet "Which Model?" in the interest of easier spare parts ordering. It is a chronological record of all Honda models imporied into the UK. since 1961—nearly 60 in all!
The technical explanation will enable you to determine the sometimes minor dilTcrcnccs between machines that otherwise look identical.

Tyre Sizes
Note that whilst ihc majority of sizes used on Honda machines are available from British manufacturers (and therefore we do not stock these at Honda), there are a few peculiar sizes which are only obtainable from us. These are noted against the tyre sizes for the models concerned-Colours
The colours applied to each model arc listed, together with the actual Honda colour name and colour code* This includes two-tone colour codes, eg, as used for some fuel tanks* ll is essential to quote the colour code Suffix whenever ordering painted parts.
Engine and Frame Number Prefixes
These prefixes are invariably essential when attempting to identify a particular model, and more especially when ordering pans. Insist^ where necessary, that your customer supplies this information, as the engine or frame number on its own is meaningless.
Modifications
Note that the majority of single cylinder machine modifications are determined by the frame number only, whilst most twin and four cylinder machine modifications are determined by reference to the engine or the frame number, depending on whether you are ordering engine or frame pans. Here again, you must be quite certain that (he information to hand is correct before attempting to use the parts list-Spark Plugs
We have in most instances listed only one recommended spark plug grade for each model and this is the type for standard application, Le. normal use* Refer to the parts list, especially for Sports models, as there are often alternative grades listed to suit varying conditions and types of use,
